Členno nevim, radši souhlasim s timhle, i když to zrovna neříká ten správnej člověk: „Once it’s mainstream, it’s all fucked up. There are too many vocals, too many mainstream remixes, and we’re all guilty of it. It’ll be better if it comes back slowly and underground.“ Sean Tyas.

Člen“Boredom, after all, is a form of criticism”. – Wendell Phillips
I’m not going to start this article with pointing fingers and name and shaming, but I am going to explain a few things
that I am seeing more and more, over my years within the music industry – the trance industry to be exact. I am not
expecting anyone to agree with my thoughts and feelings, nor do I care for those who want to shoot me down for
them. But I have an opinion just as anyone else, and here it is plain and simple. HATERS gonna hate.Ask yourself one question, who is REALLY killing our trance scene?
– Is it those artists, who live each day producing and bringing us fresh new music…for the love of music?
– Or is it those who live their lives slating, creating rumours and knocking the scene and artists down?“Constructive criticism is about finding something good and positive to soften the blow”. – Paula Abdul
I hear many people arguing that our beloved trance scene is becoming stale, and every track sounds the same,
and yet when artists try and deliver a new sound, or create a new style, the fans continue to knock it down. “This
isn’t trance” “WTF IS THIS” “Bring back the old you” “This is shit” and so on. You cry out for something new, and
yet kill it before it comes through. In addition it knocks down the confidence of our artists, which in turns knocks the
confidence of labels who then go on to stop our artists truly being themselves, leaving our artists nervous and
confused as to what to conjure next.Think about it. For our music scene to grow, the artists need support, support from those who really care, when you
see comments and attacks made towards your favourite artist, stand up and defend them. Quit complaining about the
change and open up and truly listen to the new sounds unfolding, there is much talent and skill coming through at the
moment, whether the negative want to believe in it or not. I see it seeping through everyday, and it is good stuff, yes
not every genre is to my taste but that would give me no right to attack it, or offend the artist who produced it.DJ MAG, now I will be hated for this but I don’t care
David Guetta gets to NO1, a spot he should have garnered many years ago to be truthful, why? FANBASE his fanbase
is larger than our trance elites, and therefore that support should have taken him to first place a long time ago. I can’t
say I am the biggest fan of Guetta, but I do respect his productions. Guetta releases music he knows his fans will enjoy,
hence why he has such a mass following, he has created his own unique sound, and no one could ever take that from
him. Not to mention he sells tunes like nobody else. He is a legend in his own right. Yes he is not Trance, but whoever
said DJMAG’s top ten was only for Trance artists anyway? DJ MAG? The artists? or YOU?Moving on, so he gets to NO1 and he celebrates just as any other artist did for the last few years, and what happens?
David Guetta’s fanpage on Facebook gets bombarded by trance fans, slagging him off, slating his work, and generally
being down right nasty towards him and his loyal fans. Floods of uncalled for messages and personal attacks flood in
for days, and that really opened my eyes. Yes as someone mentioned to me a while back “he probably doesn’t even
care” correct but it still doesn’t make it right.Trance music, will always stay in the hearts of thousands because it encourages emotions, happiness, euphoric states of
mind, and that is one of the reasons many of us refuse not to follow it, but what does it mean for trance, if the community
becomes emotionless, uncaring, and negative towards it? If you don’t like it anymore, simply move on to something else,
jesus there are enough genres in the world now to suit everyone’s taste, so why stay involved with a scene that you have
grown to hate? why continue to destroy it by attacking it at every given option, why continue to destroy the creativity of our
artists? So, who is REALLY killing our Trance scene?
“Criticism and pessimism destroy families, undermine institutions of all kinds, defeat nearly everyone, and
spread a shroud of gloom over entire nations”. – Gordon B. HinckleyNemusíte s tím souhlasit, jen se nad tím třeba malinko na chvilku zamyslet..
