Dramatic Effect je mým alter-egem, pod kterým se skrývá má obliba pro hudbu všech možných druhů. Nemam moc rád tradiční biografie, a proto i trochu poruším standartní konvence, kdy si o sobě DJs sami píšou bio ve třetí osobě, doufajíc, že jim to přidá na kreditu a profesionalitě, a napíšu si článek o sobě v první osobě.
Nejsem professionál, ani ho ze sebe nechci dělat. Nehraji po klubech, neboť můj přístp k hudbě se liší od požadavků toho, co na akcích požaduje většina poslucháčů. Nejdůležitějším prvkem hudby pro mě jsou melodie – proto se můj zájem soustředí od popu, různých forem rocku (nejradši post-rocku) až k různým formám elektroniky, nejčastěji brousíc v rovinách dubstepu, chill/2stepu a samozřejmě trancu, na kterém jsem vyrostl a který je pro mě stále největší srdcovkou. Můj zájem prošel vývojem od šlapajícího upliftu až k pomalejší zadumanější produkci, aby se nakonec zastavil na půl cesty, reprezentujíc to, čemu říkám Proglifting – trance okolo 133BPM, silně melodický, emotivní, avšak né s tou typickou upliftou „šlapající“ razancí.
Při míchání setů a svých občasných podcastů se rád zaměřuji na smíchání více různých žánrů, od housu až po breakbeat, s tím, že vodícím prvkem mezi tracky je pro mě vždy melodie. Více než míchání však preferuji studiovou tvorbu, kde má člověk více času na pravé promyšlení podstaty své hudby. Mým zatím největším – a dá se říci jediným – zářezem je vydání mého remixu pod labelem Pulsar. Věřím, že hudební scéna dneška je absolutně přesycená a proto nechci pouštět do obchodů další tracky, dokud s nimi nebudu naprosto spokojen – zatím lze tedy mojí tvorbu najít hlavně na Soundcloudu, zdarma ke stažení.
